Busy Life!

Today's pick is of Gerard and I after the Qld Titles last year. As you can see we are both very happy after my win.

I feel very fat at the moment in comparison to this picture! Oh dear, the joy of body image issues : )

I have been busy busy since last post - hence the title of this post. I did a shoulder and ab workout Friday afternoon. I thought I was going to vomit after I finished my final cable crunch set. I neglect my ab training so I am ensuring I incorporate this a minimum of once per week now.

On the weekend I didn't make it to the gym....naughty naughty. I am so not dedicated to training on the weekend unlike lots of other people. I headed down to Brisbane for a day with my bridesmaid on Saturday. I did do my cardio and trained my friends prior to going down though. We found the same colour material for the bridesmaids dresses for half the price. Bargain. I also found some gorgeous beads with shells on a wire that I will incorporate into the bridesmaids bouquets. I finalised the flowers on Friday as well. I have chosen phalenopsis orchids with a aquamarine bead woven through mine and cream beads for the girls. I also booked the musicians for the ceremony, and ordered some boob inserts for my dress : ) Need to pretend I've got some boobs at least! I am so flat when I lean down. The only good thing about putting on a few kgs is I get decent sized boobs!

On Sunday I spent the day in the garden. I didn't do any structed cardio but I lugged a trailer load of rock and another trailer load of mulch into the garden all on my lil ownsome. Gerard was on night shift so he was catching up on some zzzz's. So that was a solid 3 hours of work there. Finished another garden bed that puppy kept getting dirty paws from and trampling all over the nice clean decks. I must see if I have a digi photo of my boy to post.

I have a gorgeous Rottweiler named Arnie. He is my surrogate child : )

I ate off plan on the weekend. As a result I am now feeling less than terrific. This dieting is feeling like a chore already and it is still early days. I found myself chanting SAM'S mantra: Food is Fuel, food is fuel, food is fuel this morning as I cooked my fish for lunch - Which turned out to be as tough as. Yuk, so unappetising. Oh woe is me!

Tonight I have a nutrimetics training session. I am looking forward to getting my party plan business up and running. Not looking forward to the late night but I am looking forward to catching up with RACHEL.

I am not enjoying the chilly mornings. I have decided I will no longer get out of bed before 6am for outdoor cardio : ) I am such a rebel!

Snow Beast

Now this is what I call an awesome back shot! From fingers to ankles and everything in between! Hope you don't mind me posting this here Sam. Your back looks unbelieveable. Baby got back.....(sung to that 80's rap song).

Todays title is Gerards current pet name for me. I am so damn white it is disgusting. I am going to have to resort to some fake tan until I can prune myself up in the solarium!

Workout last night was back and biceps. I am training once a week with a girl I go to college with. She is interested in competing next year. I had a great workout last night. My arms and shoulders were popping as I curled my 21's. I just love that exercise. It would be close to my favourite.

I was up nice and early this morning to see the sun climb out of the ocean. It is another gorgeous day in paradise. A little less chilly than yesterday morning. Off for a leg workout tonight.

I found the design for my bridesmaids dresses yesterday and the fabric. They will have a gorgeous aquamarine colour. I just spoke with a florist and I am heading over to see her about flowers shortly! When I was in Gympie last week I discovered a brilliant bead shop. In the bargain bin they had they had toothpicks with little shells on them. I bought a few packs of them. My them is sea shells and star fish, so these will be so novel and cute with the nibblies we are having with drinks after breakfast.
