41 SLEEPS TO GO!

And I'll be sitting here all foofed up like a princess with this as my backdrop!! It will probably only be 40 sleeps because I have to get up at 3am for the hairdresser to start beautifying me and I probably wont sleep a wink before that!! This is the view from our reception venue. Oh it is getting close.
There has been lots of wedding action in the last week:
- Gerards attire is organised - apart from the tailoring required to accommodate his HEUWG shoulders into his suit;
- Harry's attire is organised - the groomsmen weren't going to wear jackets, but he looked so cute in a black suit I convinced Gerard he should wear the jacket;
- Chelsea's initial visit with the dressmaker for measurements;
- Shoes for both bridesmaids - do you have any idea how difficult it was to find adult and child shoes that match??!!;
- Bonbonierrie chosen;
- Meeting with decorator for the beach;
- And finally............Bridal shower this Saturday avo/evening! Yippee, that should be fun. My wonderful friend Cheryl is organising the games. She is so much fun. I wish the interstate girls could here to join my fun.
So I have been madly running, running and running some more to try and lose this lard off my ass. Still several kg's to go - but I am not stressing. My tan is starting to kick in so that fills in the cellulite divets : ) I am going to wait until the end of August before I go bikini shopping. Need to find a sexy white cossy to accentuate my tan and take the focus off my thighs - ha ha.
I met with Maraina last night and Penny today to discuss their comp nutrition. I will head of to their posing class on Sunday to check them out in action! It is really motivating for myself to be around the girls who are preparing for their comps. Helps me stay focussed on my own goals.
I've also made a definite decision about competing at the Nationals in October. I won't be. I am going to thoroughly enjoy my honeymoon and not have to stress about a single sip of poolside cocktail! I know I'll be having lots of those. There will be plenty more competitions but only one honeymoon and this is my priority. As I've already booked my flights to the Nationals I'll still be going and will have a weekend away in Melbourne, and of course I'll go to the comp to cheer on my friends......"GO SUE - KICK ASS : ) "
I'm off to college tonight, can't wait to have my nights back to myself.........

I love that view from Sails. And you are so right about Nationals v Honeymoon - I am SURE you made the right choice there :)

Hi Di,
I have been following your blog but never commented before. You have been a big inspiration to me ever since you completed your 12 week challenge! So glad to hear that you are not competing in October, I was really feling sad for you at the thought of not being able to just kick back and relax and indulge for that most special occasion. It is such a beautiful time, I don't think my husband and I will ever experience a holiday together that was as romantic and special as our honeymoon. All of the little things are so thrilling like hearing your husband introduce you as "his wife" and being called "Mr and Mrs"! I just loved it! I think you have inspired me to put some wedding pictures on my blog just to re-live it! Enjoy all of the bulid up to the big day, it is almost as exciting as the ceremony and reception! Keep us updated I love reading about all your plans!
love

Thanks for visiting my blog. If I can do half as well as you did in the challenge, then I will be a happy girl.
I am so happy you are going to get to enjoy your honeymoon. You only get one, yet you can compete any time. How exciting!!!!
Rebecca :)
